One day we rode to Ft. Davis, and then north toward Balmorhea.  Almost there, we turned off onto an inviting Ranch Road the sign said would be a dead end in 11 miles.  Since it was named Boy Scout Road we guessed it probably went to a Boy Scout camp.

At one point it passed through the "front yard" of a ranch house, between the house and outbuildings.

Sure enough!  At the end of the road we found the Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch.  Viewing the sign we knew we didn't want to hunt, but weren't too sure about the trespassing part.  Since we were there to ride - we headed back in the other direction.

Off a short distance Voni spotted two Javelina grazing, or rooting around, or whatever it is that Javelina do when they are not tearing up somebody's camp site.

"They All Went to Mexico . . ."

Phil Marvin drove over from El Paso to take us to his favorite Mexican restaurant - in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico - about 200 road miles into Mexico.  Here is our intrepid chauffeur and tour guide, beside the road at the Shafter, Texas ghost town - remains visible in the background.

We entered Mexico at Ojinaga, across the border from Presidio, Texas.  We headed south toward Comargo.

We found goats grazing beside the road!
But discovered you are never far from a Walmart Store!

We arrived at our destination.  Borrego II Tacos, a simple downtown eatery in Delicias.  It was a little after 1:00 p.m.  The lunch crowd was gone, so the service was quick and the food was great!

The tacos were excellent.  We cleaned up the first order quickly, so we ordered more.              Phil and Voni (above).

The staff was very friendly!
And they provide delivery, by motorcycle too!
